You should come to the breast lift consultation prepared to discuss candidly your medical history. You may be asked about family history as it relates to breast cancer and when you had your last mammogram. Dr. Luria may require you to have a mammogram depending on your age and health history.
During your consultation with Dr. Luria you will discuss the breast lift procedure in great detail, the type of incision he recommends and whether or not you will be getting an implant along with your lift. He will also answer any other questions or address and concerns you might have including the risks associated with the procedure. Dr. Luria will also give you instructions on eating and drinking before surgery. Also, if you are a smoker it is recommended that you quit before your surgery. Dr. Luria may recommend that you have a mammogram before your surgery, depending on your medical history.
